We’ve had our heads down over the past few months focusing on some exciting developments and I wanted to take a moment to share what’s happened so far, and where we’re headed next.
Some of our most significant updates and releases this year have focused on expanding the potential of Tidepool for our Clinicians. Most notably, we launched Clinic Account Administration, a new service which streamlines how Clinicians access patient data, and provides more robust controls for managing that access.
As I connect with our Clinics, both virtually and face to face, I’ve come to genuinely appreciate the potential scale of impact we have when the stars and planets align. As our Clinic Success team regularly conducts training sessions for Endocrinologists, Diabetes Educators, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, and other essential staff who are responsible for providing quality care to people with diabetes, we get a real sense of the eagerness and enthusiasm these providers feel when they realize how Tidepool can make a significant difference in their day to day workflow.
Knowing that the work we do to bring a single Clinic online could benefit thousands of people with diabetes and their respective families is truly humbling. That impact increases exponentially when we consider the sheer number of new Clinics and Health Systems choosing Tidepool on a weekly basis.
In the coming weeks, we’ve got some more to say about our experiences exhibiting at major diabetes conferences this past summer, and an exciting evolution of the Tidepool Data Platform.
As always, your continued support and trust in our ability to deliver on our nonprofit mission to make diabetes data more accessible, meaningful, and actionable means everything to us.
