Dear Community,
During this time when our lives have been disrupted by a global pandemic, I keep coming back to our capacity to help one another as a diabetes community. I want to share what Tidepool is doing to help with great, free software and resources to connect healthcare providers, people with diabetes, and diabetes data.
This telemedicine page and toolkit aim to help you quickly get started with Tidepool, including:
Thanks to the generous support of JDRF, Tidepool’s software remains always free, always available, always on, and always easy to use to upload device data and see your diabetes data all in one place with one login. We have an amazing team standing by to support you, motivated by our mission and a clear sense of purpose to continue this service for our community today and in the years to come.
We know that many healthcare workers are working around the clock to deal with this crisis while continuing to care for people with diabetes via telemedicine. When we can’t connect face-to-face to manage diabetes together, we can still have helpful and meaningful exchanges remotely if our providers can see our diabetes device data and help people make therapy decisions, especially during a time of stress and uncertainty.
As a 100% remote team working from home already, we’ve also shared about the tools we use that could help companies get through their transition to work from home, as well as how we nurture a remote culture.
I share so many of the worries you and your families are facing right now, and I’m confident in one thing — Tidepool is here for you. Please let us know what you need or how else we can help.
Cheers,
Howard LookPresident and CEO, Tidepool#ThisisTidepool#WeAreNotWaiting
