Taking Clinic Success to the 2022 conference calendar

With the launch of our new Clinic Account Administration functionality earlier this year, the Tidepool team had the opportunity to engage directly with our community at three key in-person events: the American Diabetes Association’s Scientific Sessions, Children with Diabetes Annual Friends for Life, and the Annual Meeting for the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists.

Along with all of the miles logged and smiles shared through masks, it was so rewarding to speak with people with diabetes and providers who find value in the software we create. Bringing that positivity and energy back to the rest of the team is always a highlight.

At ADA, we spoke with Endocrinologists who were thinking about developing or even expanding remote patient monitoring programs. Over the past two and a half years, we’ve seen an understandably tremendous growth in telemedicine initiatives and uniquely innovative approaches to establishing remote patient monitoring programs that are built to thrive. Tidepool’s Data Platform has become a critical component of these programs.

At CWD FFL, we connected with friends and fans, collecting feedback on opportunities to grow and improve our software. Feedback from everyone in the Tidepool community is critical to shaping and informing the decisions we make.

At ADCES, we spoke with diabetes educators who heard about Tidepool from a colleague or in a featured presentation and were eager to learn more. These conversations are the first steps in a longer term collaboration that builds trust and value in the software we provide. What soon follows are focused demos and discussions, reviews with IT and legal personnel, and eventually pilot planning before a new Clinic or Health System is a fully-fledged member of the Tidepool community.

Connecting with all the different types of members that make up our community is so important to the work we do, and we are already looking forward to next summer’s conference season.
