Diabetes Center Berne is collaborating with the Tidepool Period Project to understand the impact of the menstrual cycle on diabetes management with a focus on modeling insulin sensitivity. As part of Diabetes Center Berne's larger focus on sex differences in diabetes, the datasets provided by Tidepool will be used in an assessment of the impact of sex specific differences on glycemic control. The research team also plans to apply their insulin sensitivity model designed as part of the Period Project collaboration to the datasets provided by Tidepool.
