I collaborate with engineers, designers, and internal and external stakeholders to make sure Tidepool's suite of products efficiently solves problems for -- and, ideally, delights -- our users and supports Tidepool's mission to empower people with type 1 diabetes.

The thing that excites me most about Tidepool Loop is that it pairs the creativity and wisdom of a DIY software project with the safety, ease-of-use and security of a regulated medical device, and is the groundwork for a future where patients can enjoy state-of-the-art automated insulin dosing without being locked in to one pump or cgm manufacturer.

I don't have a personal connection to type 1 diabetes, but I have worked on software to help patients (and their care teams) better manage their condition for the last 7 years.
