I am here to assist with training, onboarding, and support for health care professionals, people with diabetes, and caregivers. This kind of work takes a lot of different forms from obvious efforts, like tutorial videos or articles, to the non-obvious, like altering the language used in our site-wide navigation.

My goal is to make Tidepool's products, as well as our care and education initiatives, as accessible and approachable to as broad an audience as possible.

The thing that excites me most about Tidepool Loop is the level of access and control it provides for all people managing diabetes.

In 2022, my middle son, Teddy, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of seven. This diagnosis changed absolutely everything for our family. I spent the entire first month focused on learning everything I needed to know to help manage this chronic condition. I knew, even then, that I wouldn't be satisfied doing anything short of helping usher in a better era of diabetes care that was affordable, equitable, and accessible to all.
