PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tidepool, a 501(c)3 nonprofit committed to providing free software for the diabetes community, today announced a milestone for the Tidepool Big Data Donation Project, having delivered complete, longitudinal datasets from 300 unique individuals with type 1 diabetes (T1D) to eight JDRF-awarded research teams under signed license agreements.
New Diabetes Technology to Watch for in 2020
Tidepool Loop: The software and open-source data non-profit Tidepool is building a closed loop system that brings together both the DIY world and FDA-regulated commercial side. While it’ll be based off the DIY Loop homemade systems, this separate Tidepool Loop mobile app will work with the Dexcom CGM and Omnipod tubeless patch pump, and be available on iOS initially.
